Ah, the contradictions we must navigate through when we talk to men! I think the problem lies with women more than with men. What in the stuff they say makes us think we must take them seriously? Nothing. Still, we keep insisting that we must be respectful, attentive, and serious about what they say! We keep trying to "read between the lines," and try and remember what they said an hour ago, where, in fact, there is no hidden or added meaning to what they are saying, and as you can see, an hour later they could say things contradicting themselves! Sorry couldn't be more hopeful or helpful! I have struggled with the notion all my life and I'm still not the wiser. Be good azizam.
